DIANA VENIS-KERKHOVEN 07.07.1969 My father was a photographer in the Nijmegen region, where we lived, and I learned the basic principles of photography from him. However, it wasn’t until 2018 that I seriously started photographing myself. My current daily profession is caregiver and semi-professional photographer. My favorite genres are evening photography, architecture, landscape, and wildlife. In addition to photography, I would like to take people along on my travels and show them all the beauty of nature and the world—places they might never visit themselves. I also enjoy teaching people how to capture these moments beautifully, so that, like me, they can create lifelong memories. I do this by giving workshops and organizing trips together. Favorite times: I prefer to photograph during the golden and blue hours, but I also enjoy shooting in the dark for the Northern Lights, stars, comets, steel wool spinning, and light painting.
